Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, and Javier Bardem lead the cast, and the 2-hour-35-minute runtime gives the story room to operate at blockbuster scale.
The clearest strength is the way the premise connects competition with character. This is not simply a story about getting a car around a circuit; it is about experience meeting ambition, and about two drivers learning how individual talent fits inside a larger team.
